sorry about some of the bad lighting on some of these. i seriously need a place to take pictures of my dolls so bad.
I’m bouncing off the walls! If there’s anything I love as much as Disney, it’s weddings! I’m so excited the new Alfred Angelo Disney Princess 2014 collection is out!

Disneyland premiered in 1955 as the first American fully-realized theme park. Snow White and Her Adventures was one of the very first dark rides to make extensive use of ultraviolet light, and it absolutely continued the Gothic traditions of Snow White: much like the film, a light opening sequence gave way to vultures, skeletons, and a flight through the forest.
This is from the Dover Little Activity Book’s version of “Snow White” (which I owned as a kid, then lost, then rebought awhile ago at an opera house). It’s always been one of my favorite Snow White illustrations - both because it’s beautiful (her HAIR! The shape of her body! The dress) and because LOL it’s probably the most believable depiction of the scene I’ve ever seen in the sense that Snow looks so confused.
"Hold up," she says, "You’re hott and all, but who in the Hell are you? Where am I? Where did these awesome boobs come from? Last time I checked I was, like, seven years old. Did you put these flowers in my hair? Who put these flowers in my hair?! Are those birds laughing at me?”
Just roll with it, Snow. Just be glad you aren’t that kid from The Juniper Tree. Things didn’t turn out NEARLY so good for him when his stepmother murdered him. :P
